Look at our Big Girl!!!!

Doing some tummy time on Uncle Ben's bed.
Aunt Lindsay and Uncle Ben spending some time with Olivia.
Hey mom what are you doing?
This outfit is so cute on her. The Thomas family bought this cute outfit for her. She is sitting kind of silly.
Olivia's new thing is that she falls asleep with her thumb in her mouth. It is very cute.
This is Olivia waiting for the Race for the Cure. The cute hat is from Aunt Becky and cousin Caroline.
She did so well during our walk. She slept through the first part and then she woke up for the end of the race.
During the walk when we walked past the zoo they had the elephants out to greet people. They were very cute.
Ben and Lindsay got their first place together. Mommy and I went with Grammy to see their apartment. Daddy took me over to Grandma Hedges and we spent the day with her. I love to sleep on her this way.
Look how red my nose is when I first wake up.
This is Daddy feeding me since Mommy wasn't with us. Daddy didn't know that I know how to hold my bottle like a big girl.
We just love this pretty dress on Olivia. The weather was so great this week that Mommy had me wear dresses twice!
This is me first thing in the morning before Mommy takes me to "Grandma Mary's" my sitters house.

We had a pretty big week. Olivia laughed for the first time. She of course laughed for the sitter first, but as soon as we got her home Mommy acted like a complete goofball to get some giggles. Mommy has only been able to get me to laugh a couple of times, but I am sure I will be laughing more often. Olivia is quite the talker. Anytime she is spending alone time she immediately starts entertaining herself with her voice. She makes all the cooing noises that you would think a baby would make. She is so stinking cute!!!!
We thought we would share some of our precious moments with you. We love when she talks to us and to herself. We also love the fact that she is truly figuring out how to get things to her mouth. Hope you enjoy these quick clips.

3 months already!!!

Olivia getting her tummy time on her gym. (This gym is the same as her friend Clara)
These are our three babies, Olivia, Lexie and Bentley.
This is Olivia laying on her travel gym at Mommy's school.
Olivia getting her diaper changed at home. The pig onsie and sweater are her cousin Ryanna's hand me downs.
Look how good I am getting at tummy time.

I just can't get to my hands quick enough and what ever position I am in I have to be able to get to my hands.

Uncle Josh and I talking at Grammy's house.
Look at my crazy hair. I had just woke up from a nap and my hair did this which looks so silly mommy and daddy said.
I am sitting on the couch helping my daddy.
Do you think they know that I am tired?
This is at Mommy's school and we are going to go shopping with Mommy's friend Sarah and her daughter Lilly.

My uncle Ben loves me so and he can always stop me from crying.
Uncle Josh do you see that?
When I am out I am out and I love my crib it is sooo comfy.
Daddy is changing my diaper at Grammy and Papaws.
I think he likes me. :)

Uncle Josh do you really have to hold me when you are so sweaty?
Jackson wanted to know why I was getting upset after being on the blanket.
Hey Grammy why are you eating my fingers.
Daddy I just want you to hold me pleeaassse!!!
She figured out how to hold onto this ring and bring it to my mouth and chew on it.

Look at my hair! I fell asleep in the car on the way over to meet Uncle Josh.
This is our first picture together. Uncle Josh bought me this dress and it is the first time I had worn it.
I like to sleep on my uncle's lap and hold his finger.
Daddy got a new haircut and he wanted to get a picture with me in my pretty blue dress.
Olivia had a long day!

Olivia Christine Hedges is now officially 3 months old. It has gone so fast and watching her grow up gets better and better. She is constantly making Todd and I laugh because she is constantly talking. We think she likes the sound of her own voice. She wakes up in the morning and starts talking to us and if you imitate the same sounds that she is saying she gets louder and louder. We are just waiting for her to start laughing. She sounded like she laughed two days ago when I was making dinner and Todd was holding her in the kitchen while we talked. Todd kissed me and she made a sound that sounded just like a laugh. Of course we kept trying to recreate the experience so she would do it again, but she just looked at us like "enough already". The other big milestone that we are looking for is her rolling over. We are making sure that she has lots of practice so that she will be successful with this.

The other big news is that I finally got brave enough to make sure that Olivia sleeps in her crib each night. She was sleeping in the Moses basket in our room, but now she is sleeping in her crib each night. She is such a good sleeper and is letting Todd and I get some great sleep. Olivia is such a joy and Todd and I really get a kick out of our beautiful baby girl. She got to meet her uncle Josh for the first time two weeks ago. It was so much fun to watch Josh gush over her and even more fun to watch Olivia light up and talk to her uncle. He was here for a weekend and I don't think he put his camera down the whole time he was here.

I did really enjoy being home with Olivia for 2 weeks and we finally got to the point where she will stay on her tummy for more than 7 minutes without getting upset. She loves her hands too as you will see in some of the pictures. I just finished my first week back after spring break and Olivia went back to Grandma Mary's (her babysitter). She had a great week back and was of course very interested in the kids at the babysitter. It is so cute because the little boys that are there always greet her first thing in the morning when I drop her off and Todd says that they are always telling her bye when he picks her up. Hopefully our next post we will have more milestones to report and many more cute pictures.
Our next post you will see my fun day with Grandma Hedges and much more!

Friends, St. Patrick's Day, Daddy's Birthday, Easter

Todd is still romantic and surprised me with this cute bouquet just because yesterday.
Daddy and I have been watching March Madness and I hate when our teams don't win.
After a bath in my princess robe.
Look at my pretty Easter dress. The tights are a little big for me still.
The pink lamb is from Grandma Hedges and the cute Easter bunny is from Aunt Becky, Uncle Brian, Cousin Caroline and Kyle.
The beautiful Easter basket is from Grammy and Grandpa Cox.
Look at my cute shirt it says Mommy's Little Sweetie.

She loves her Grandma Hedges.
Look at my cute parents. The great thing is that mom can get her arms around my dad now. :)
I am holding Malik, Grammy has Olivia, Todd and dad are in the back and Grandma Hedges is in front of Todd. This was our first Easter with Olivia.
Todd, Grandma Hedges and sleepy Olivia in her after church outfit.
We wanted a picture of three generations.

She loves sleeping on her daddy's chest.
Mommy caught me in a great mood so she took some pictures of me.
Malik and Abby met us for church on Easter Sunday.
Malik loved Jackson and Joe at my parents house.
This is our family photo on Easter.

Olivia meeting Liz for the first time. Poor Clara was a little tuckered. She was awake the entire visit, but our Olivia was asleep until we finished eating.
Olivia and Clara giving their best faces to the camera.
Clara didn't want to see us go. Olivia was a little dumbfounded to hear another baby upset.
Thank you Aunt Patsy for the adorable jumper. It was perfect for church. As you can see I slept through the whole thing. Grammy ran me around the church.
Happy St. Patrick's Day. Mommy woke me up just to take my picture so she caught me stretching.

Todd's birthday our babies (dogs) and Olivia hanging with daddy on the couch. The next picture is of Todd and I on our anniversary sitting at the Willie Nelson table at Texas Roadhouse.

We did eat some of our wedding cake for our anniversary. It was a little scary, but it still tasted good. Thanks Natalie for the instructions and also the Happy Anniversary wish on the box. Olivia's favorite thing to do now a days is eat her hands. The picture of her in the swing is of her passed out after her day of shots. She was so tired. Look at her little chubby arms.

We have had a busy couple of weeks. Olivia just had her two month visit to the doctor. Her doctor says that she is doing great. She is now 12 lbs 1oz and she is 23 1/2 inches long. She got her vaccinations and I cried since it was the first time that I had ever heard her cry like something hurt her. She was just a little fussy later in the afternoon and evening. She still doesn't enjoy tummy time, but we are still doing it just in short intervals. She does however like her gym time especially the little mirror that she gazes into. She also loves when daddy leans in and kisses her. She is starting to anticipate when you are leaning in. Her head control is so much better. She is also arching her back now when she gets upset. You will get to see that in one of her pictures. She is smiling more and more and the doctor said it won't be long before she starts to laugh. We are so looking forward to this milestone. Olivia coos all the time now. She is starting to imitate us when we make noises at her. The other big news is that she is already teething. She is trying to get a tooth on the top of her mouth. This has been challenging because she is so little so she can't hold a teething ring by herself or anything else for that matter. This makes teething a little challenging, but we know that we will survive. :) Poor baby girl. She got to meet her first little friend Clara (Liz and Jeremy's little girl) friends of ours. Clara is 1 day younger than Olivia, but was already 24 inches long when we met up with them 2 weekends ago. It was so great to see them even though it was a short visit. I will post a couple of pictures of the girls. Olivia gets to meet her uncle Josh for the first time tomorrow and we are so excited.

Todd celebrated his 37th birthday. It was a good time here at home. We watched Dan in Real Life which was a fantastic movie by the way. Of course this was the first birthday that Olivia has ever experienced with cake and candles that is. :) Todd is slowly, but surely getting more energy and at least his cold is mostly over. The other wonderful thing is that we celebrated our 1 year anniversary. Grandma Hedges watched Olivia for us so we could go to dinner and a movie. It was fun to sit in theater and get to watch the entire movie without interruption. We have had a whirlwind of changes in our first year of marriage, but it has been amazing. We are so blessed to have each other and now our love and God has created this beautiful baby girl. God is truly amazing and has continued to bless us! We have received so many cards, phone calls and gifts for Olivia and for us to wish us a great anniversary. Thank you all so much for loving and blessing our family.

I survived intersession last week. I did earn every last cent though. :) This week Olivia and I have been busy with doctors appointments. I have had two and she has had one. I will have one more week with her and then back to work I go. It is such a great schedule to be on a year round calendar because I love these extended breaks (especially now with Olivia). The other great thing is that I have been able to see friends for lunch or coffee. This is always good. The dogs are doing great still. They are really enjoying the weather when it is warmer.
